After the announcement of the flagship smartphone Mi 11, Xiaomi showed another novelty: the top-end router Mi Router AX6000. This is the brand’s first router to support Wi-Fi 6 Enhanced (aka Wi-Fi 6E). It supports Xiaomi Mesh technology to create seamless coverage with multiple compatible routers.
It operates in three bands: 2,4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz. The maximum throughput of the Ethernet port is 2,5 Gbps.
With 512MB of RAM, the router can support up to 248 simultaneous connections, which is essential for building a smart home ecosystem. There is also Xiaomi ChangKai Connect technology here. With it, compatible devices of the ecosystem will automatically receive a new password from the router if you decide to change it, so you do not have to reconnect all the equipment again.
The novelty was estimated at a modest 599 yuan (≈6 750 rubles). On sale in China, it will appear on January 8 – probably soon after that the international version will also be announced.
