7. Drink a glass of milk

Milk helps to reduce the concentration of sulfur-containing chemicals, which are the cause of the unpleasant onion or garlic odor. At the same time, fat milk is more effective than skim milk.

In general, according to the researchers, the best result is obtained if each bite of food with garlic or onions is washed down with milk. This method should be included in the list of preventive measures, but it seemed to us too brutal.

8. Chew gum

Choose a gum with the fullest and fullest flavor possible. Some kind of triple super mate is perfect. In addition, chewing gum will not only eliminate the pungent smell of garlic or onions, but it will also stimulate the production of saliva, which will help wash away foul-smelling food particles.
