To protect Google’s browsing history (which includes searches, visited sites, and even viewed images) from prying eyes, iOS users now only need to open the settings, go to the search history and enable additional verification.
Now, to view the history, you will have to enter your account password.
At the same time, Google made available the function of quickly deleting recent browsing history, which was announced back in May. To do this, just click on the profile icon and click the “Delete history for the last 15 minutes” button. It will hit Android later this year.
Both innovations are rolling out gradually. If they are not yet available to you, wait a few days – and do not forget to update the application to the new version.
