Honor V40 5G presented – the first flagship without Huawei

The new flagship V40 5G has appeared in the Honor line of smartphones. This is the first model released after the sale of the brand by Huawei.

The Honor V40 5G features a 6,72-inch OLED screen with rounded edges, a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 800 nits of brightness and a built-in fingerprint scanner. In the upper left corner in the hole is a 16 megapixel selfie camera with an auxiliary ToF sensor. The rear photomodule includes the main 50-megapixel RYYB sensor Sony IMX766, an 8-megapixel wide-angle module and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The set is complemented by a laser autofocus and LED flash.

The heart of the smartphone is the 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor with Mali-G77 MC9 graphics, 5G support, 8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal memory. Autonomous operation is provided by a 4 mAh battery with support for 000 W fast charging via the USB-C port. A 66W wireless make-up is also announced.

The flagship supports Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC and also has stereo speakers, two linear vibration motors and the ability to connect wired headphones with a USB-C plug. Works smartphone based on Android 10 with Magic UI 4.0 shell. The price of the most affordable version of the Honor V40 was 3 yuan (≈599 rubles).

So far, the device is presented only in China, but, perhaps, it is in this flagship that Google services will return after it enters the European markets.
