As a representative of Samsung told the Korean edition of Ajunews, the company will no longer release smartphones in the Galaxy Note line. This is in line with earlier reports from leak searchers – including rumors that Galaxy S smartphones will support the S Pen stylus from 2021, which was previously considered a feature of Note devices.
Although this series had its own fans, in recent years the Galaxy Note did not stand out much from the background of regular Galaxy S: smartphones had little difference in design and screen size (which was the main selling feature of the Note in the era when we still used the word phablet ).
The same employee noted that the Note21 in Samsung’s lineup next year will be taken by the foldable Galaxy Z Fold3 with stylus support. Details on this are still scarce, but it was previously reported that a “brand new” S Pen will be released next year.
